If you are worried about the cost of our support – you can relax knowing we don’t charge any upfront fees. We work on a contingency fee basis. You will never pay us a dime – until we win your case.

Finding a lawyer can also increase your compensation in the end. Studies show that an attorney can earn you over three times more than if you didn’t have legal representation. You have nothing to lose – and everything to gain.

Don’t wait any longer to act. By waiting – you are giving the insurance company an advantage. They are already gathering evidence to deny or lower the value of your claim. We don’t recommend talking to the insurance company. They will use what you say against you. What they can’t do – is hold you accountable for what your lawyer says on your behalf.  Let us handle these conversations for you.

Protect the value of your claim by contacting Alpert Schreyer Injury Accident Lawyers LLC. Call us today to schedule your free consultations.

How Do I Know If I Have a Case?

Medical professionals have a duty to their patients to act according to industry standards. This means that they should be able to identify the warning signs of a stroke and heart disease. If they are not qualified to give a formal diagnosis, they are required to at least refer that patient to a specialist who can. Failure to do so is considered medical negligence, or medical malpractice.

Common examples of how medical negligence could lead to misdiagnosis include:

      • Failing to order necessary medical tests, screenings, etc.
      • Failing to recognize the symptoms of a stroke/heart disease
      • Ignoring a patient’s self-reported symptoms that could indicate a stroke/heart disease
      • Failing to recommend an at-risk patient to a specialist
      • Diagnosing a stroke/heart disease as another medical condition
      • Giving an accurate diagnosis but doing so too late, or delayed diagnosis
      • Failing to diagnose a stroke/heart disease at all

If your stroke or heart disease was misdiagnosed or incorrectly treated, you may have a case if you suffer an injury, complications, or further injury in the future. “Further injury” may mean you were left to suffer a preventable stroke, heart attack, or other serious adverse event (like cardiac arrest). It may also mean that because of the preventable event, you were left with other injuries like paralysis or brain injury. Stroke and heart disease misdiagnosis may also prove fatal. If you lost a loved one, you may have a wrongful death case.

Do you suspect that negligence led to your or your loved one’s misdiagnosis, but you aren’t sure? Alpert Schreyer Injury Accident Lawyers can dive into the facts of your case to find the truth. We’ve done it for countless clients, and we are prepared to do the same for you.
